Today I made borscht.

Today I made borscht because I wanted to cook something and my sister said, "How 'bout
borscht? It's actually pretty good."

And I said, "Okay, why not?"

So I chopped up some yellow onions, which made my eyes burn.

I chopped up a giant cabbage and little pieces flew everywhere. Everywhere I tell you.

I stained my hands and clothes peeling beets.

We had no vegetable stock and I almost cried because I thought I'd have to throw away the vegetables I spent an hour chopping, only my very kind father bought some for me.

I cooked it and processed it and chilled it and put in sour cream and ate it.

And it tasted bad.

But you know what?

I am eating the borscht. I am eating the borscht right now, in fact. Right now.

I am eating the borscht to KILL IT.

This borscht will not know the life of poverty in a garbage can. This borscht is going to suffer in my stomach, burning in acid as hot as an oven. Die, borscht! Die! Die, die, die, die! >:F Forever!

I think I would give one to my dog, because she wouldn't use it to destroy people and buildings and stuff. Actually, maybe I'd give it to my dad, because he would drive it to work to make people laugh. And he would let my sister and I paint it funny colors because he's just cool like that.

My grandma came over for Thanksgiving. The food was absolutely amazing! I cannot wait for leftovers tomorrow. Mmm, homemade mashed potatoes and gravy taste good to me anyday.

So what are you guys thankful for? I'm asking for interesting n' different answers here, something a little less generic than friends and family (though you can definitely still be thankful for those!). It can be funny or sappy or whatever. My mom said she was thankful to have two daughters that are normal, by most peoples' standards.

I'm thankful for pockets and shoes. Two very convenient things.

John and Kate Plus Eight is over, by the way! I'm watching the last episoder ight now. I'll miss those adorable umptuplets.

Isn't it funny how these days you like can't get on TV unless you have at least five kids in one sitting or at least ten kids total? I think I'll make a lame-o MS Paint comic about that.

My sister is out visiting a "mountainous region", as she calls it, and I just came back from college visits with my dad. He'll be out tomorrow... Ehhh, what do I do with mahself? I have no sister to bother... Maybe I'll just be lazy and watch anime all day... I'm currently addicted to Black Butler, though I'm not gonna lie, it's pretty weird and a little messed up.

Oh yeah, I forgot to say, I almost fainted a while ago from like this low hormone count/low salt content thing on Tuesday, so the doctor's made me drink Gatorade. It still strikes every now and then. I think I may also be getting sick. Boo hoo.

In other news, my dad is awesome, I had Indian food and watched Spirited Away tonight.

But I still miss my seester! What are I'm gonna do when she goes to college and gets eaten by a bear or gets her foot caught in the mailbox or some other such horrible occurence that she'll need me to protect her from? D8 She's so incompetent by herself! No, I'm lying, that's really more like me, I forget my lunch money all the time and my gym uniform and she has to lend me hers. Oh well, we'll figure it out.
